Delivery Policy

At Africab, we strive to make receiving your orders as convenient as possible. You can choose from in-store pickup, home delivery within Dar es Salaam, or shipping to other cities across Tanzania.

1. In-Store Pickup

  • Free for all eligible orders.
  • During checkout, select “Pick Up” to see if your items are eligible for collection at our store.
  • Once your order is ready, we will notify you via email or phone.

Collection Procedure:

  • Bring your order confirmation and a valid ID matching the name on the order.
  • Visit the designated in-store collection area selected during checkout.
  • Our staff will verify your order and hand over the items. Please inspect items for damage or discrepancies before leaving the store.
  • Sign any necessary collection receipts or documents.

Proxy Pickup:

  • If someone else will collect your order, inform us in advance.
  • The authorized person must present a copy of the order confirmation, valid ID, and a signed authorization letter from you.

2. Home Delivery (Dar es Salaam)

  • We deliver directly to your doorstep within Dar es Salaam.
  • Delivery typically takes two working days after payment confirmation.
  • Tracking details will be shared once your order is dispatched.

3. Shipping to Other Cities in Tanzania

  • For locations outside Dar es Salaam, we ship via a transporter of your choice.
  • Delivery typically takes two working days after payment confirmation.
  • The cost of transportation is paid by the buyer.
  • You will receive transporter details and tracking information once the shipment is booked.
  • Ensure accurate delivery information to avoid delays.

4. Order Processing & Dispatch

  • Orders are processed and dispatched Monday to Saturday (excluding Sundays and public holidays).
  • Orders placed after 2 PM will be treated as if placed the next business day.
  • We work with trusted shipping carriers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Multiple-item orders may arrive in separate shipments, each with its own shipping confirmation.
  • International shipping is currently not available.

5. Returns & Exchanges

  • For in-store pickup, please inspect your items before leaving the store.
  • No exchanges or refunds can be processed once the goods leave the store.
